We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Wellington team. You'll work on complex data platform builds using Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Data Factory for some of New Zealand's most important organisations.
What you'll do
- Design and build production data pipelines on Azure
- Work directly with government agencies and enterprise clients
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our engineering culture
- Participate in architecture decisions and technical leadership
What we're looking for
- 5+ years experience in data engineering
- Strong Azure experience (Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, ADLS)
- Experience with SQL, Python, and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing work
