Senior Data Engineer
Build and optimise Azure data platforms for government and enterprise clients.
We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Wellington team. You'll work on complex data platform builds using Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Data Factory for some of New Zealand's most important organisations.
**What you'll do:** - Design and build production data pipelines on Azure - Work directly with government agencies and enterprise clients - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our engineering culture - Participate in architecture decisions and technical leadership
**What we're looking for:** - 5+ years experience in data engineering - Strong Azure experience (Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, ADLS) - Experience with SQL, Python, and infrastructure-as-code - Excellent communication skills for client-facing work
